The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate absout their work and who is always looking to grow and expand their skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of projects including schedules, scope of work, and budgets
  • In-depth knowledge of project drawings for construct-ability, value engineering, coordination and quality assurance
  • Work with project coordinators in the submission of Proposals, Submittals, Change Orders, Material ordering, & RFI’s
  • Development and implementation of execution plan to provide direction to the team
  • Ensure all safety and quality control measures are in place
  • Proactively lead, mentor and motivate project team members
  • Accountability for project performance and results
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring that any changes to scope are documented and approved using a change order process
  • Act as primary point of contact for all project stakeholders
  • Provide detailed project reports on progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in engineering, construction or project management, or a technical school diploma and extensive practical PM experience on applicable project work.
  • 3 years of work experience in engineering, construction or other related technical field with increasing levels of responsibility and development, or 10 years of similar experience (without an appropriate post-secondary degree).
